ALB and diabetes mellitus: The risk factor that was most highly correlated with any complication was albumin <3.5 g/dL (OR: 4.162, 95% CI: 3.759-4.609, P < .0001), followed by diabetes (OR: 1.445, 95% CI: 1.304-1.601, P < .0001), tobacco use (OR: 1.192, 95% CI: 1.024-1.387, P = .1693), and BMI ≥40 kg/m2 (OR: 1.185, 95% CI: 0.994-1.413, P = .0003).
