AKT1 and androgen insensitivity syndrome: In order to identify the involvement of p38 MAPK, Erk1/2, and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways in the pathological process of AIS, Western blotting was performed, and it was observed that the phosphorylation levels of p38 MAPK, Erk1/2, and PI3K/Akt were significantly promoted in the AIS groups and decreased after rt-PA treatment (p < 0.05) (Figure 4), which indicated that p38 MAPK, Erk1/2, and PI3K/Akt pathways were involved in AIS progression.
