Figures 7B,C present a summary of the qPCR data, already described in Figures 2–6, and provide a comparable overview on the results. A closer look at the 24 h samples revealed that most genes involved in the focal adhesion molecule complex, especially the CDH1 mRNA, were highly down-regulated in both AD and MCS groups of MCF-7 BCC. The cell adhesion molecule and extracellular matrix protein fibronectin was slightly elevated in AD and MCS. A down-regulation was observed for LAMA3 in MDA-MB-231 cells. The gene discussed is CDH1; the disease is skin basal cell carcinoma.
