We recently reported the first Mexican mestizo with PMM2-CDG that also showed a compound heterozygous combination involving the c.422G>A (p.R141H) mutation [13], the most frequent PMM2 mutation reported worldwide and consistent with a recent study in a cohort of 805 Mexican individuals being studied for infertility and that were genetically screened and where PMM2 was one of the top 10 genes carrying pathogenic variants [13,16]. This evidence concerns the gene PMM2 and Infertility.
