Given that the organization and rearrangement of the cytoskeleton is essential for the cancer cell invasion, migration, and proliferation (Tai et al., 2015), we first investigated whether Calebin A modifies colorectal cancer cell proliferation and viability in TME, similar to FAK inhibitor or cytochalasin D. Serum-starved HCT116 or RKO cells were kept untreated or treated with different concentrations of Calebin A or FAK inhibitor or CD. The gene discussed is PTK2; the disease is cancer.
