Immunoblotting (Figure 4) revealed sharply lower β-actin-normalized cerebrocortical EPO (Figure 4B: P = 0.083) and BDNF (Figure 4D: P = 0.084) contents in the untreated 3xTg-AD mice (EPO: 0.15 ± 0.06; BDNF: 0.28 ± 0.15) vs. WT mice (EPO: 1.49 ± 0.64; BDNF: 1.70 ± 0.67). This evidence concerns the gene ACTB and Alzheimer disease.
