Additionally, we also found that, compared with normal tissues, EVA1C mRNA levels were higher in other cancer types including kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), and thymoma (THYM) (Supplementary Figure 1B), and EVA1C protein levels were upregulated in renal cancer and pancreatic cancer (Supplementary Figure 1C). The gene discussed is EVA1C; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
