Although danazol and GnRH agonists demonstrate efficacy in the relief of endometriosis‐associated pain,9, 10 their use may be limited by androgenic/anabolic adverse effects in the case of danazol (eg, weight gain, hot flashes, and hirsutism) and hypoestrogenic effects for GnRH agonists (eg, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and loss of libido).4, 12, 13.
