Maher et al. [16] studied the anti-tumor effect of GPC3-specific CAR-T cells on HCC utilizing patient-derived xenograft models and found that they could significantly inhibit the growth of tumors with high expression of GPC3, further confirming the application prospect of GPC3-specific CAR-T cells in the treatment of HCC.
