Consistent with the activation of CBP/β-catenin, markers of TICs CK17, CK14, TP63 and P16 were upregulated, while markers of squamous cell differentiation LORICRIN, INVOLUCRIN and CK4 were downregulated significantly in the CIN and SCC samples compared with normal cervix samples. Here, CDKN2A is linked to cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
