Most results from the current study clearly demonstrate that GEGR induces anti-tumor effects in LLC1 cells, including significantly high cytotoxicity, cell cycle arrest, inhibition of MAPK pathway, increase of apoptosis and Bcl-2/Bax pathway, suppression of NF-κB signaling, inhibition of migration ability-associated signaling pathway and enhancement of tumor suppressor proteins. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is neoplasm.
