While lack of GPR55 per se did not affect LV wall thickness over time in the sham group compared to WT sham, post-MI maladaptation in GPR55−/− mice was additionally characterized by a drastic and early thinning of both, the LV anterior wall (LVAW) and the intraventricular septum (IVS), hinting toward aggravated infarction expansion (Fig. 7b,c, see Supplementary Fig. S5).
