Somatic mutations in CREBBP and EP300are associated with a range of cancers3 germline CREBBP mutations and are linked with Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome(RTS).4 This syndrome is characterizedby growth impairment, learning difficulties, and distinctive facialand skeletal anomalies.5 RTS patients alsohave an increased likelihood of developing some forms of cancer.
