To further investigate the prognostic value of KRAS G12V in pancreatic cancer, the TCGA-PAAD and ICGC-PAAD (Canada) cohorts were utilized and results demonstrated that KRASG12V patients exhibited relatively longer overall survival time than patients with other mutation types of KRAS, yet the prognostic value of KRASG12V in TCGA-PAAD cohort was marginal significant (TCGA/KRASG12V: P = 0.072, ICGC/KRASG12V: P = 0.019; Fig. 5a&b). Here, KRAS is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
