In addition to the reported reduction in TPCN2 expression in melanoma by D’Amore et al.8, we found that there is a significantly decreased pattern of TPCN2 expression associated with this cancer stage in patients with uveal melanoma (expression of TPCN2 in patient with uveal melanoma, stratified by cancer stage (1 vs. 2, P value, 3.203800e−01, 2 vs. 3, P value 1.834220e−01, 3 vs. 4, P value <1e−12), using the UALCAN database31. Here, TPCN2 is linked to uveal melanoma.
