On comparing the cancer patients after radiotherapy versus the controls, we found significantly higher levels in the cancer group for IL-6 (Mann–Whitney U test = 181; p < 0.01), IL-8 (Mann–Whitney U test = 268; p < 0.01), MCP1 (Mann–Whitney U test = 226; p < 0.01), and TNF-α (Mann–Whitney U test = 354; p = 0.01). Here, CCL2 is linked to cancer.
