Although age, sex, ulceration, stage, LN metastasis, and remote metastasis did not show statistically significant correlations with TFPI2, there seemed to be a trend towards significance between the positive staining of TFPI2 with advanced stages (P = 0.09) and lymph node metastasis (P = 0.07) in the TMU-CM cohort (Supplementary Table 8). This evidence concerns the gene TFPI2 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
