High expression level of LYVE1 in tumor tissue can induce tumor cell proliferation, lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic metastasis, and was reported to be closely related to poor prognosis in many cancers, including lung cancer, renal cancer, and breast cancer (Li et al., 2018; Schraml et al., 2019; Hunter et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene LYVE1 and renal carcinoma.
