To further illustrate the correlation between claudins and the immune microenvironment, we analyzed the relationship between CLDN6 and CLDN10 expression and gene markers of various immune cells in ovarian cancer (TIMER2 database), including B cells, T cells (general), CD8+ T cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, and regulatory T cells (Tregs) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene CLDN6 and ovarian carcinoma.
