Apigenin (a flavone), baicalein (a flavone), chrysin (a flavone), diosmetin (a flavone) and quercetin (a flavonol) are shown to activate the AhR (19) while keampferol (a flavonol), galangin (a flavonol) and naringenin (a flavanone) are demonstrated to antagonise the AhR and exhibit anti-cancer effects (83).
