The levels of strong neutrophil chemoattractants, such as chemokine-like factor 1 (CKLF-1), C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CXCL1), C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 2 (CXCL2), C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 5 (CXCL5), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1/C-C chemokine ligand 2 (MCP-1/CCL2), C-C chemokine ligand 3(CCL3), and C-C chemokine ligand 5 (CCL5), all increased dramatically after stroke. Here, CCL2 is linked to stroke disorder.
