TG and neoplasm: found after a mean follow up of 80 ± 17.3 months (range, 60-114 months), in a series of twenty-nine patients (forty-six recurrent PTC), that the tumor volume decreased significantly (p <0.001) with a mean volume reduction of 99.5% ± 2.9% and significant thyroglobulin decrease (p<0.001), and complete tumor disappearance of 91.3% by the final evaluation with no delayed complications noted (89).
