The known molecular mechanisms of PCAT6 oncogenesis in various cancers are summarized below.In lung cancer, PCAT6 combined with EZH2 to reduce LATS2 promoter activity (via H3K27 trimethylation in the LATS2 promoter region) and regulated miR-330-5p, thereby affecting proliferation and metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. This evidence concerns the gene PCAT6 and lung carcinoma.
