AKT1 and malaria: The KEGG pathway enrichment analyses showed that 10 pathways were significantly enriched in upregulated genes (Fig. 3A), including ECM-receptor interaction, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), glycosphingolipid biosynthesis-globo and isoglobo series, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), malaria, glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis-heparan sulfate/heparin, vibrio cholerae infection, glucosaminoglycan biosynthesis-keratan sulfate, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, and dilated cardiomyopathy.
