Our results show that the levels of cleaved caspase-11 in liver tissue of HFD-induced NAFLD rats were significantly increased, while in the JZLGD treatment groups, we observed a significance decrease in caspase-11 levels, implying that JZLGD may regulate the activation of GSDMD through inhibiting the expression of caspase-11. This evidence concerns the gene GSDMD and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
