To further determine whether the expression of RAP genes is associated with genetic alterations in HCC, we compared their expression in tumors with mutated or wild type TP53, CTNNB1, ALB, PCLO, and LRP1B. TP53 mutation was observed to be associated with higher expression of RAP1A, RAP1B, RAP2A, and RAP2B (Figure 5A). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
