Considering these aforementioned results obtained in the present study, we could draw the conclusion that MRPS17 promotes migration and invasion of GC via the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and its overexpression in GC is significantly associated with worse prognosis of GC patients, suggesting the potential of MRPS17 as a novel biomarker in treating and stratifying GC patients. This evidence concerns the gene MRPS17 and gastric cancer.
