Finally, adiponectin levels are inversely and leptin levels directly correlated with prostate cancer grade in some cohorts (Saglam et al, 2003; Goktas et al, 2005; Karnati et al, 2017) suggesting that effects of SH‐BC‐893 on these adipokines (Fig 5) may contribute to its ability to suppress prostate cancer growth (Kim et al, 2016).
