Previous researches have reported the role of Septin4 in many cancer cells, including non–small-cell lung cancer cell [16], colon cancer cells [12], hepatocellular carcinoma cells [17, 18], malignant melanoma cells [13], neuroblastoma cells [19], myeloid leukemia cells [20, 21], and without exception, Septin4 promotes the apoptosis of all these cells and thus plays a role in cancer suppressing. Here, SEPTIN4 is linked to cancer.
