Consistently, the loss of epididymal adipose tissues in cachexia mice (Fig. S2a, b; Fig. S3a, b) was accompanied by upregulated expressions of fatty acid translocase CD36 and Acyl-coenzyme A thioesterase 1 (Acot1) in the CAC gastrocnemius (Fig. 7b, c; Table S5), which facilitated mobilization and oxidation of adipose tissues.
