Notably, three of the four methylation writers (except DNMT3L) significantly predicted BCR for patients with PCa (DNMT1: hazard ratio [HR] = 1.41, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.21–1.64; DNMT3A: HR = 1.51, 95% CI = 1.25–1.84; and DNMT3B: HR = 2.57, 95% CI = 1.94–3.39). This evidence concerns the gene DNMT3B and posterior cortical atrophy.
