A cisplatin-induced AKI mice model was established by administering 22 mg/kg cisplatin to both WT and Tet2-KO mice to investigate the role of Tet2. It was observed that the Scr and BUN levels (indicative of renal function) were markedly elevated in the KO and WT mice at 48 and 72 h after cisplatin injection (Fig. 3A, B). This evidence concerns the gene TET2 and acute kidney injury.
