These genes in CINs and CCs, such as EVL, INPP4B, IGF2R, and ADGRB1, were involved into some well-defined cancer-related pathway, including RTK/RAS/PI(3)K, Wnt/β-catenin, p53/mTOR, cell cycle, and DNA damage, suggested that these mutated genes might be novel biomarkers for the early diagnosis and treatment of CC (Supplementary Table 5). This evidence concerns the gene EVL and cancer.
