Recent studies showed that AMAP1 promotes cell proliferation and tumor invasion in several cancer cells including triple-negative breast cancer (He et al., 2020), ovarian cancer (Zhang et al., 2018), laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (Li et al., 2014), colorectal cancer (Muller et al., 2010), and prostate cancer (Lin et al., 2008). This evidence concerns the gene ASAP1 and ovarian cancer.
