The percentage of CD4+ Th17 lymphocytes (CD3+CD4+IL-17+), was also significantly increased in the MOGAD group when comparing unstimulated to rh-MOG stimulated PBMC (means: 0.53 ± 0.1 vs. 1.02 ± 0.28; Wilcoxon-test p = 0.013), but not in MS (means: 0.34 ± 0.07 vs. 0.35 ± 0.06; Wilcoxon-test p = 0.537) nor in the control groups (means: 0.55 ± 0.16 vs. 0.72 ± 0.25; Wilcoxon-test p = 0.437) (Figure 1B).
