As the first VEGF targeting drug, bevacizumab has been officially approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for cancer therapy, such as metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), cervical cancer (CC), and ovarian cancer (OC) (Ferrara and Adamis, 2016).
