PPARGC1A and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: Targeting PPAR coactivator‐1α (PGC1α), an important transcriptional co‐activator in control of fatty acid metabolism [113] could sensitize nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells to radiotherapy, and targeting FAO in nasopharyngeal carcinoma with high expression of PGC1α might improve the therapeutic efficacy of radiotherapy [113].
