Variants in both BRCA1 and BRCA2 were present across all histologies of lung cancer and controls, with a prevalence of 20.0% (12/37) and 6.3% (1/16) for BRCA1, and 18.3% (11/37) and 18.8% (3/16) for BRCA2 in lung cancer patients and controls, respectively.
