Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an acquired immune disorder defined by the presence of thrombosis and/or pregnancy morbidity along with positive antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL), such as anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL), anti beta 2 glycoprotein antibodies (AB2GPI), and lupus anticoagulant (LA) [1].
