IFNG and infection: The main aim of the present study was to explore in vitro, a potential therapy based on fractions isolated from L. alba essential oils, more effective and safer against the T. cruzi-infection, which also to be able to contribute in modulating genotoxicity, pro-inflammatory immune response (IFN-γ, TNF-α, RANTES, and IL-2), and oxidative stress (ROS) response.
