The univariate linear regression model which was performed for chemerin and LCN2 has shown that the growth of each substance serum level similarly increases the likelihood of the GDM incidence in the analyzed group of patients—18% for each 10 ng/ml of chemerin and 20% for each 1 ng/ml of LCN2 (CI 95%, OR: 1.180 vs. 0.200, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and gestational diabetes.
