Multivariate analysis revealed the factors of male gender (hazard ratio (HR)—1.56, 95% CI—1.12–2.17; p = 0.009), α-fetoprotein > 5.6 ng/mL (HR—1.56, 95% CI—1.10–2.10; p = 0.011), and KIR3DL1 + HLA-Bw4 (HR—1.69, 95% CI—1.15–2.48; p = 0.007) as independent risk factors for developing HCC. This evidence concerns the gene KIR3DL1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
