In the Han Chinese, the lower level of core-fucosylated galactosylated glycan containing sialic acid of IgG (GP20) was observed in the HDC compared with HTN/T2DM/healthy individuals, while sialylated glycans (reduced relative abundance of GP20 and increased relative abundance of GP24 [FA2BG2S2], DG2 [FBGS/(FBG + FBGS)], and DG53 [FG2n/(BG2n + FBG2n)]) presented inconsistent trends in HDC patients. The gene discussed is DSC2; the disease is hypertensive disorder.
