Antipsychotic treatment in a subset of 738 schizophrenia patients from the CATIE study [264] polymorphisms localized within or close to the genes, ETS homologous factor, solute carrier family 26 member 9 (SLC26A9), DRD2, G protein-coupled receptor 137B, carbohydrate sulfotransferase 8, and interleukin1-alpha (IL1A) was associated with improvements in various neurocognitive domain areas.
