We have recently reported on a novel minigastrin (MG) analog targeting the cholecystokinin-2 receptor (CCK2R), expressed at high incidence in medullary thyroid carcinomas (MTC, 92%), small cell lung cancers (SCLC, 57%), astrocytomas (65%), stromal ovarian cancers (100%), as well as gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NET, 22%) and other tumors [10,11,12,13]. The gene discussed is CCKBR; the disease is malignant epithelial tumor of ovary.
