In this framework, Shang et al. [3] report on the synthesis of dye-labeled transferrin protein-based NPs with elevated photostability for super-resolution imaging in live-cell nanoscopy, thus combining the properties of transferrin-based nanoparticles (as biocompatible carriers with cancer cells’ targeting properties) with the photostability of the Atto647N dye. This evidence concerns the gene TF and cancer.
