A 6 h incubation of the co-culture with CML resulted in a significantly greater mRNA expression of MAPK8 (5.9-fold p = 0.0118 vs. CTL), but also of CASP3 (3.5-fold; p < 0.0014 vs. CTL and 3.7-fold p < 0.0011 vs. CPF/CML) (Figure 4d). The gene discussed is CASP3; the disease is chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
