Bioinformatic analysis of the PrognoScan database (website: http://www.prognoscan.org, accessed on 15 May 2021) revealed that ClpP expression correlated with negative patient outcome in about 60% of analyzed datasets; high levels of ClpP expression were associated with shorter distant metastasis-free survival and relapse-free survival in patients with breast carcinoma and uveal melanoma, and in patients with lung adenocarcinoma, respectively [34]. The gene discussed is CLPP; the disease is breast carcinoma.
