Previously [16,25], we showed that the expression of genes involved in osteoblastogenesis, as well as PTH1R mRNA levels, significantly increased during CKD progression, as schematically presented in Figure 5A. In the present study, we measured the expression of key genes associated with osteoclastogenesis—RANK, NFATc1 and TRAP. The gene discussed is TNFRSF11A; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
