Fibrosarcoma: Studies related to microRNA in fibrosarcoma have been carried out using the human cell line HT-1080, where the miR-29 family activates MMP-2 which plays a role in tumor suppression; miR-520c and miR-373 activate the Ras/Raf/MEK/Erk and NF-κB signaling pathway, promoting the migration and invasion of cancer cells [114,115]. This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and fibrosarcoma.
